Here is a transportation map for Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. The destinations for each transportation option are listed below the map.

Resort Boats
- Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
- Magic Kingdom
The boat leaves Grand Floridian, travels to the Polynesian, and continues to Magic Kingdom. When leaving Magic Kingdom, the Grand Floridian is the first stop.
Monorail
After boarding the monorail at Grand Floridian, it stops in the following order:
- Magic Kingdom
- Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- Transportation and Ticket Center (Exit and Transfer to Epcot)
- Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
- Returns to Grand Floridian
Buses
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Disney Springs
- Blizzard Beach
- Typhoon Lagoon
*Guests usually have to take a transfer bus to the water parks. The bus driver can show you where to board the water park bus at the transfer point.
Walkway
- Magic Kingdom
The walkway between Grand Floridian and Magic Kingdom is 0.70 miles. Guests can continue walking to the Contemporary from Magic Kingdom.
*The walkway between Grand Floridian and the Polynesian is closed due to construction.

Transportation Options at Disney’s Grand Floridian
We love to stay at the Grand Floridian, and have physically mapped a couple of the routes during our travels. So, if you’re looking for specifics, you might enjoy the following:
Walking from Disney’s Grand Floridian to Magic Kingdom: This is one of our favorite routes. If you leave the Magic Kingdom after the fireworks, you don’t have to wait for the monorail or the boat! You can make your way through the crowds and join the peaceful walkway back to the resort. This guide shares photos of the route with a map of the distance.
