You might also want to visit other popular locations like the resort hotels during your vacation. Most of these destinations require a transfer. Here are our suggestions for using complimentary transportation to get to these locations:
Monorail Resorts (Grand Floridian, Polynesian Village, and Disney’s Contemporary Resorts): Monorail to any of these resorts.
Epcot Resorts (Beach Club, Yacht Club, BoardWalk, and Swan and Dolphin Resorts): Take a bus to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Then, boat or walk to these resorts.
Skyliner Resorts (Riviera, Caribbean Beach, Art of Animation, and Pop Century): Take a bus to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Then, take the Skyliner to any of these resorts.
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge or Fort Wilderness: You can walk, boat, or take the monorail to Magic Kingdom and then take a boat or bus to either of these resorts.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge: Take a bus to Disney’s Animal Kingdom park. Then, board the bus to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Disney Springs Resorts (French Quarter, Riviera, Old Key West, Saratoga Springs): Take a bus to Disney Springs and board a bus to any of these resorts. (This item is not listed on the pocket guide below.)
Things You Need to Know
Transportation at Disney World is subject to availability and operating hours. For example, taking a bus from a theme park to a resort earlier in the day can be challenging. In the morning, the priority is getting guests to the park. So, if a bus transfer is required before 10:00 a.m., we usually take a car service for breakfast reservations.
It’s also important to note that some routes we’ve shared offer alternative options. For example, if you’re visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, you might prefer to walk or monorail to Magic Kingdom and then take a bus directly to the resort. We’ve tried to share the most straightforward ways.
