The Best Way to Get From Disney’s Beach Club to the Contemporary Resort (+Alternatives)
Disney’s Contemporary Resort is a popular destination. Guests often plan dining reservations at some of the resort’s popular restaurants like Chef Mickey’s or the California Grill. Others like to visit to check out how the monorail runs through the center of the resort. Regardless of why you’re visiting, you’ll want to know how to get to the Contemporary if you’re staying at Disney’s Beach Club. So below, we’ve listed the best way to get from Disney’s Beach Club to the Contemporary using complimentary transportation provided by Disney.
The Best Way
Take a bus from Disney’s Beach Club Resort to Magic Kingdom. At Magic Kingdom, you’ll walk through the security clearance. From there, you have options. You can do one of the following:
- Take the resort monorail from the Magic Kingdom to the Contemporary.
- Take the walkway from Magic Kingdom to the Contemporary.
You’ll want to take the weather into consideration when deciding which option works best for you.
Alternative Route
As an alternative, you can take a FriendShip Boat or walk from the Beach Club to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Then, you can board a bus to Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
A Note on Breakfast Reservations: One important note, we would not rely on taking a bus from a theme park to a resort before 10:00 a.m. From our experience, it often takes longer to find a bus that’s immediately returning to the resort. If we were visiting the Contemporary for breakfast, we would allow time to take the bus to Magic Kingdom and then monorail or walk to the Contemporary.
*If your breakfast reservation is early (ex. 7:30 a.m.) you will probably need to take a car service or Minnie Van.
