Scat Cat’s Club Cafe at Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter to Temporarily Close
If you’re visiting Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter in the upcoming month, you’ll want to be aware that Scat Cat’s Club Cafe will be closed starting September 23rd. The cafe is expected to reopen by mid-October 2024. This closure is part of the resort refurbishment currently underway at the French Quarter.
You may remember that the Doubloon Lagoon Pool was entirely refurbished earlier this year. It has now reopened, and the resort’s rooms are in the process of receiving a makeover. The room refurbishment is happening building by building, so it is unlikely that any renovations will significantly impact your stay.
But what about beignets? Thankfully, per the Disney website, beignets and specialty coffee will be available at the resort’s quick-service restaurant. Here is the official announcement:
From September 23 to mid-October 2024, the Scat Cat’s Café at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter will be closed for refurbishment. During this time, Mickey-shaped beignets, specialty beignets and specialty coffees will be available at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory.
