New Desserts at Le Petit Cafe at Disney’s Riviera Resort (Summer 2024)
On a recent visit to Disney’s Riviera Resort, we noticed a few new desserts in the display case at Le Petit Cafe. As someone who browses this case rather often, I was surprised to find so many new items! Unfortunately, we didn’t try anything on this visit. But I took a couple of photos to share the new treats in case you are planning an upcoming stay. Here is a photo of the dessert case.
We’ll start with the lemon profiterole. It features a small white chocolate mint with the resort’s logo.
On the left side of the photo, we have an orange coffee ganache tart topped with a chocolate rectangle featuring the Riviera logo.
Next to it, we have the honey pistachio entremet. This would have been my choice. It’s a unique dessert.
Lastly, the seasonal cheesecake sits on the far right side. The current flavor is strawberry.
All four of these items count as snack credits on the Disney Dining Plan. With prices ranging from $7.29 to $7.49, they are an excellent use of a snack credit. They are also likely among the highest-quality desserts available outside of a table-service restaurant.
As far as Le Petit goes, it’s a breakfast hub in the morning featuring fresh pastries, specialty coffee, and teas. It transitions to more of a lounge offering after 3:00 p.m. with small bites like charcuterie and olives, signature desserts, a variety of wines, beers, hard ciders, and the resort’s specialty cocktail list.
