Disney’s Blizzard Beach Dining Guide (Menus and More)
I don’t know about you, but when I visit a water park for the day, I end up ordering a funnel cake. It’s my favorite guilty pleasure. There’s something about spending the day in the sun and enjoying a hot, crispy, and mouth-watering delicious treat—kind of like enjoying ice cream in the dead of winter. Speaking of winter, Disney’s Blizzard Beach is reminiscent of the season. It’s themed to an abandoned ski resort.
As we continue our coverage of Disney’s Blizzard Beach, I thought we would check out the dining scene at the water park. Blizzard Beach has one significant quick-service restaurant that sits toward the front of the park and additional walk-up windows, kiosks, and snack stands. If you plan to take advantage of the new water park perk for resort guests that debuts in 2025, there are a few things you’ll want to know.
Lists of Restaurants at Blizzard Beach
Here is a list of the dining locations at Blizzard Beach:
- Lottawatta Lodge
- Warming Hut
- Cooling Hut
- I.C. Expeditions
- Arctic Expeditions
- Avalunch
- Frostbite Freddy’s Frozen Refreshments
- Polar Pub
- Mini Donuts by Joffrey’s Coffee
Additionally, there are a few kiosks with other items:
- Joffrey’s Coffee (separate kiosk from the donut stand)
- Funnel Cakes
How Disney Water Parks Operate
It’s important to note that Disney’s water parks operate on a rotational schedule. Blizzard Beach is typically open between early November and March, and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is open between March and November. You’ll want to check the exact hours and availability for your visit.
Lottawatta Lodge
When you arrive at Disney’s Blizzard Beach, you’ll walk up a sidewalk to the park’s central hub. Lottawatta Lodge will be on the left. It’s the park’s primary quick-service restaurant.
- Location: Near the Park’s Entrance
- Hours: 11:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. (Can Vary)
- Disney: Menu with Prices
- Disney Dining Plan: Yes
Lottawatta Lodge is designed to look like a chalet you might find at the top of a snow-capped mountain. Walking up to the covered quick-service restaurant, you’ll notice stands surrounding the entrance. It appears that a few fictional guests have worked up an appetite on the “slopes” and have abandoned their gear while they grab a bite to eat.
Guests can dine in a large pavilion on the opposite side of the quick service. Plenty of picnic tables and benches are underneath and surrounding the area. It’s important to note that pretty much everything is outdoors at Blizzard Beach. This is one of a few covered areas where you can wait out a rain shower at the park.
Lottawatta Lodge accepts mobile orders. It is our preferred method for ordering food if you’re dining at a busy time. The quick service restaurant is set up like other ones throughout the parks. You’ll walk up on either side of the cash register and order. Then, you’ll pick up that order behind the register. If you use Disney’s mobile order service, you’ll place your order in the My Disney Experience app and pick it up at a separate mobile order window when it’s ready.

Lottawatta Lodge has a couple of Coca-Cola Freestyle machines. The park also has a refillable mug option. (No, your resort refillable mugs will not work here.) But you can purchase a water park refillable sipper and enjoy refills throughout the day. If you visit the water parks regularly, you can pay to reactivate them when you return. I purchased one a few years ago and still bring it when I plan to spend entire days at the park.

When we visit Blizzard Beach, we typically have lunch at Lottawatta Lodge. Here are a few of the menu items. But it’s important to note that some menu items change, so not everything pictured may be available. The best place to preview any menu is in the My Disney Experience app. (It is the most up-to-date.)
Here are the shrimp and grits, which, according to the menu, are “Home-style Stone Ground Cheddar Grits topped with Cajun Florida Gulf Shrimp, Andouille Sausage, and Fire-roasted Corn and Peppers.” This is one of my favorite all-time quick-service entrees at Walt Disney World. If only more park locations could follow this entree’s lead.
Next, we have the roasted chicken rice bowl. This is another menu item that I applaud Blizzard Beach for having. It’s not your typical fast-food meal, but this is a great option if you have someone in your party who is burnt out on greasy food or a bland diet.
Of course, there will always be chicken strips and fries. You can order an adult or kid’s size portion. Kids’ meals come with two sides and, per the menu, milk or small bottled water. You can substitute the milk or water for a fountain beverage. The sides are typically fries, Cuties (mandarin oranges), or a small bag of grapes or apple slices. The options will be listed in the My Disney Experience app when you order or ask the cast member at the register.
Warming Hut
If you’re facing Melt-Away Bay (the wave pool), Warming Hut is on the far left side of the park. It’s past Polar Pub, the poolside bar, and sits between the wave pool and the lazy river. This secondary quick-service location typically serves Mickey-shaped pretzels, nachos, and chicken wings. Warming Hut also serves Dole Whip. Last season, they had Dole Whip Orange and a combined orange and vanilla soft-serve swirl.
- Location: Far Left Side of Wave Pool
- Hours: Varies
- Disney: Menu with Prices
- Disney Dining Plan: Yes
Cooling Hut
Colling Hut sits toward the front of Blizzard Beach. It’s an excellent place to pick up snack items. You can purchase a popcorn souvenir bucket here or get a refill where applicable. This location also sells water park refillable mugs and has a self-service refill station.
- Location: Near the Park’s Entrance
- Hours: Park Open to Close
- Disney: Menu with Prices
- Disney Dining Plan: Snack Credits Only
If you’re leaving the park at the end of the day, this is a great place to rinse your mug or fill up on soda one last time.
I.C. Expeditions
This snow-plow-themed quick service window is located on the far right side of Melt-Away Bay, between it and Ski Patrol Training Camp. This location is known for its famous sand pail and hot fudge brownie sundae.
- Location: Far Right Side of the Wave Pool
- Hours: 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. (Can Vary)
- Disney: Menu with Prices
- Disney Dining Plan: Snack Credits Only (Limited Options)
We’ve had the hot fudge brownie sundae and consider it a shareable treat. If you’re interested, the sand pail sundae is described as ” Vanilla and Chocolate Soft-serve, Sprinkles, Waffle Cone Pieces, Yellow Cake, Hot Fudge, Caramel Sauce, Whipped Cream, and a Cherry layered in a Sand Pail Bucket.” As you can imagine, it’s significantly larger than the brownie sundae pictured below and more expensive.
Arctic Expeditions
Artic Expeditions is located near I.C. Expeditions. It’s another snow-plow-themed venue with a walk-up window. This location typically offers churros and glazed almonds or pecans. The sweet and savory roasted nut mixtures always smell delightful when you walk near them.
- Location: Far Right Side of the Wave Pool
- Hours: 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. (Can Vary)
- Disney: Menu with Prices
- Disney Dining Plan: Snack Credits Only
Avalunch
Instead of experiencing an avalanche at Blizzard Beach, you can have lunch at…Avalunch. This will be your one-stop spot to pick up a foot-long hot dog at the ski-resort-themed water park. This location also offers a few kids’ meals and accepts some Disney Dining Plan credits.
- Location: Right of the Wave Pool
- Hours: 12:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. (Can Vary)
- Disney: Menu with Prices
- Disney Dining Plan: Yes
This location sells water park refillable sippers and has a self-service beverage refill station.
Frostbite Freddy’s Frozen Refreshments
Frostbite Freddy’s is at the front of the park near the primary restrooms and changing area.
- Location: Near the Park’s Entrance
- Hours: Park Open to Close (Can Vary)
- Disney: Menu with Prices
- Disney Dining Plan: NA
This location is primarily a bar that serves specialty cocktails, beer, and wine.
Here is the menu board with on-the-rocks and frozen drinks. A few drinks specific to Blizzard Beach are the Melt-A-Way Margarita, the Winter Summer Mojito, the Blue Blizzard Margarita, and the Frostbite Ritas.
Here is a photo of the various beers and seltzers on tap and in cans. As always, menu items are subject to change. We take these photos to provide an example of what you can expect.
Polar Pub
Polar Pub is the bar that services Melt-Away Bay at Disney’s Blizzard Beach.
- Location: Wave Pool
- Hours: 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. (Can Vary)
- Disney: Menu with Prices
- Disney Dining Plan: Na
This location serves the same menu as Frostbite’s Freddy. It’s just convenient for guests who are lounging near the wave pool.
Mini Donuts by Joffrey’s Coffee
Mini donuts are as popular as funnel cakes or any other water park must-have treat. You can pick them up at the Joffrey’s Mini Donuts stand. This little stand sits near the front of the park on a walkway between Lottawatta Lodge and the lazy river. If facing the snowman family, you’ll take a right and run directly into it.
- Location: Near Lottawatta Ldoge
- Hours: Park Open to Close (Can Vary)
- Disney: Menu with Prices
- Disney Dining Plan: Snack Credits Only
I’ll let you be the judge of this popular treat. I do not care for them.
Joffrey’s Coffee
Coffee lovers can enjoy their favorite hot and iced caffeinated beverages at the Joffrey’s stand near the wave pool.
Most drinks are available as snack credits on the Disney Dining Plan. The menu below depicts seasonal beverages that might not be available, and pricing has likely changed. However, most regular coffee drinks and teas are available year-round at Joffrey stands throughout Disney World.
This Joffrey’s also sells oversized iced donuts and a few bottled drinks.
Funnel Cakes
We saved the best for last! The funnel cake and cotton stand at Blizzard Beach sits near the wave pool. It’s not the most prominent location and doesn’t have an online menu, so you might not realize it’s there unless you were to stumble upon it. Of course, you might notice someone else indulging in a treat and go in search of it yourself.
This location serves funnel cakes, cotton candy, and bottled drinks. When I order my funnel cake, I always ask for a light dusting of confectioner’s sugar. But I’m not sure it matters at that point.
You can also order it with a slab of ice cream and topped with chocolate sauce.
