Disney Visa Card Member Benefits and Discounts at Walt Disney World in 2025

We all know that a Disney World vacation is expensive. Every little bit adds up. But just as much as those expenses add up, so do discounts. Well, they do, if you remember to use them, and, in this case, pay off the credit card balance at the end of the month. I’ll be honest. I trained myself long ago to ask a cast member if an annual passholder discount is available. However, besides using my Disney Visa Card for the exclusive character meet-and-greets at Epcot and Hollywood Studios, I had forgotten about many of the other discounts for eligible Disney Visa cardholders.

So, if you have one of the two Disney Visas (Disney Premier Visa Card or Disney Visa Card), you might want to be aware of these member perks. To be clear, both cards come with other benefits, including a vacation-financing option. For this article, we’re focusing on the benefits and discounts you can use during your vacation.

#1 Disney Character Experience

We’ll start with the Disney Visa Character Experience at Epcot. This meet-and-greet is offered daily between 1:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. in a building next to the Imagination Pavilion and Magic Eye Theater at Epcot. Guests will have the opportunity to meet a classic Disney character. In our experience, it’s typically Mickey and Goofy or Minnie and Pluto. However, there are no guarantees. You must show your ID and Disney Visa or Rewards Card to gain access. You’ll also get a complimentary digital PhotoPass download.

#2 Star Wars Character Experience

Disney Visa cardholders can also attend a special Star Wars-themed meet-and-greet at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This meet-and-greet is available daily between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. inside Star Wars Launch Bay, at the back of the Animation Courtyard near the Disney Junior Play and Dance! It also comes with a complimentary PhotoPass photo download.

#3 Dining Discounts at Disney-Owned Locations

Besides the character meet-and-greets, cardholders are privy to other discounts. For instance, cardholders can receive 10% off select dining locations on most days by using their Disney Visa Card at the following locations:

Guests can receive 10% off select merchandise purchases at select locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. (Remember to ask when making purchases. I’ve used this discount several times at the World of Disney at Disney Springs.)

*This discount was a big miss on my part. I rarely purchase coffee because I make my own, but the Peach-flavored iced tea at Joffrey’s is one of my guilty pleasures.
