Blaze Pizza Review
Blaze Pizza is the perfect place for anyone wanting to enjoy a reasonably priced meal at Disney Springs. It’s also an excellent location for individuals, families with picky eaters, or groups where no one can agree on whether or not pineapple goes on a pizza. Everyone will fit at the table because each person gets to create a custom pizza.
These attributes also make Blaze Pizza more than a little popular. You might notice an outdoor queue outside the restaurant’s entrance in the photo below. It’s not uncommon to see a long line of guests waiting during busier times, especially evenings and weekends.
Once you reach the inside, you’ll tell the person at the register what kind of pizza you want. The most popular is the create-your-own pizza, where you continue through the line and tell the cast member what toppings you want to add.
Blaze’s signature pizzas include:
- Meat Eater, Green Stripe, Red Vine, BBQ Chicken, Art Lover, Veg Out, Hot Link, White Top, and Vegan.
Dough selections include
- Classic, Gluten-Free, Cauliflower, High-Rise (vegan).
Lastly, toppings include:
- Marinara (Red Sauce, White Cream, Spicy Red, Red Sauce Dollops, Pesto)
- Cheese (Shredded Mozzarella, Fresh Mozzarella, Ricotta, Parmesan, Feta, Goat, Gorgonzola, Vegan)
- Meat (Pepperoni, Sausage, Applewood Bacon, Crumbled Meatballs, Grilled Chicken, Smoked Ham, Spicy Chorizo)
- Veggies (Artichokes, Banana Peppers, Black Olives, Kalamata Olives, Cherry Tomatoes, Fresh Basil, Chopped Garlic, Roasted Garlic, Green Bell Peppers, Jalapenos, Mushrooms, Pineapple, Red Onions, Roasted Red Peppers, Spinach, Roasted Broccoli)
- Drizzles (Olive Oil, Pesto, BBQ Sauce, Balsamic, Frank’s Red Hot Sauce, Buttermilk Ranch, Salt, Pepper, Oregano, Arugula)
So, at the very least, the kids can have a cheese pizza for less than $10.00, and you can customize a pizza until your heart’s content for about $13.00. You can usually dine for less than $50.00 for a family of four, which will probably sound like a steal after a couple of meals in the parks. You might also notice the size of the individual pizzas below. They are shareable, so you might not need to order one for everyone in your group if you agree on some of the toppings.
After selecting your toppings, the pizzas are placed in an oven. It takes five to ten minutes for the pizzas to cook. So someone in your group can grab a seat while you’re waiting. (On this visit, I ordered a gluten-free pizza, and the cast member said those crusts take longer than the regular ones.)
When the weather is nice, we prefer to eat outside. The views of Disney Springs from the covered deck are pleasant.
I chose toppings like pepperoni, smoked ham, artichokes, Kalamata olives, roasted garlic, goat cheese, and mozzarella on this visit. This individual pizza could have served two. I could not finish mine, and since I had other things to do, I wasn’t in a place where I could take it home for later.
It was delicious. The roasted garlic and goat cheese took the pizza to another level.
Overall, we love Blaze Pizza. It’s an excellent place to get a budget-friendly meal. It works for picky eaters, and you don’t have to have a reservation to dine here. On the flip side, good pizza makes for long lines. So don’t be surprised if you have to wait.
