An Egg-spedition to Disney's Yacht Club's Easter Egg Display (2024)

Are you egg-cited for Easter? At Walt Disney World, select resorts celebrate the holiday with a time-honored tradition of cast member-created Easter Egg displays. These elaborate eggs are showcased in hotel lobbies throughout the season. This year, the eggs debuted on March 3, 2024, and will remain on display through Easter, March 31, 2024.

We’ll begin our Easter egg hunt at Disney’s Yacht Club. This year, the resort’s eggs were themed to Moana, which feels appropriate given the recent debut of Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana, at Epcot.

Here we have Pua, Moana’s pet pot-belly pig.

Next to Pua, a trio of eggs represents the Kakamora, pirates from the film who strangely resemble coconuts.

Below is an egg that shares the Where You Are scene from the movie. Moana and her mom work to harvest a coconut.

Tamatoa is represented in this next egg. His eggshell is spectacularly coated with the valuables he covets most.

Following Tamatoa, we have Gramma Tala as a stingray.

While I loved the creativity and designs of all the Easter Eggs at Disney’s Yacht Club, the following interpretation was my favorite. I would not have thought to turn the simple shape of an egg into Te Ka, a vast wasteland of lava and destruction.

Lastly, we have a Moana egg reminiscent of baby Moana with the Conch shell.
