The Wait is Over: Universal Stella Nova Resort is Now Open
Universal Stella Nova Resort has officially opened at Universal Orlando Resort. Along with the existing Universal Aventura Hotel and the new Universal Terra Luna Resort (opening March 25, 2025), it is considered one of Universal’s prime value hotels.
The resort is said to be inspired by the “infinite vastness of the unexplored universe, where galaxies spiral ever outward, and unknown worlds revolve around unnamed stars.” However, perhaps its most significant attribute is its location. The new Universal Stella Nova Resort is within walking distance of Epic Universe, a new theme park set to open on May 22, 2025.
Other highlights of the resort include the following:
- Resort-style pool with a children’s splash area
- Early theme park admission
- Complimentary transportation is provided to Universal Studios Orlando, Islands of Adventure, City Walk, and Volcano Bay.*
- Complimentary delivery of purchases to your room
- A room key with charging privileges (where applicable)
- Numerous other dining, fitness, and recreation amenities
*Epic Universe is accessible via a walking path or complimentary shuttle. Universal Orlando’s other theme parks and Universal CityWalk are also easily accessible via a walking path or complimentary shuttle.

Universal Stella Nova offers 750 standard guest rooms. All accommodations offer two queen-size beds with a maximum occupancy of 4 guests. The resort offers six standard room types ranging from standard to upgraded room views and accessibility needs. Below is the floor plan for a standard room (315 square feet) with two queen-size beds. All standard rooms feature a separate vanity and bath area.
