A Sneak Peek of the New Conrad Hotel by Hilton at Evermore Orlando Resort
We recently visited Hilton’s Conrad Hotel at Evermore Orlando Resort. The Conrad is a new resort that sits behind Walt Disney World. It’s approximately ten minutes from Disney Springs, fifteen minutes from Epcot and Magic Kingdom, and a few minutes further to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.
This hotel is part of a larger resort called Evermore Orlando, which offers various accommodations, including flats, villas, and luxury homes with up to 11 bedrooms. Houses at Evermore Bay offer the conveniences of home, with gourmet kitchens, in-unit laundry, private heated pools, and more. The Conrad Hotel, which we’ll focus on below, sits across Evermore Bay from the various housing options.
From my understanding, these units are all vacation homes designed to accommodate guests visiting the area. Evermore, in its entirety, offers a unique experience to spend an entire week relaxing and enjoying what it has to offer, supplemented by its close proximity to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, Discovery Cove, and many other tourist attractions that make up the Orlando area.
Below, we’ll take a sneak peek at a few of the resort’s offerings. I had the opportunity to tour the hotel when I was dropping off a friend who was staying there. We will not provide a review until we have an opportunity to stay for a couple of days and really get the feel for the resort. But I felt like my visit was enough to make you aware that this offering was available. So we’ll cover a few basics, and you can investigate further if you’re interested.
Conrad is one of Hilton’s international luxury hotel brands. The name Conrad is derived from the founder of the Hilton hotel chain, Conrad Hilton. Hilton has a couple of other hotels in the Walt Disney World area that fall under its luxury lines. We’ve reviewed the Signia by Hilton at Bonnet Creek and the neighboring Waldorf Astoria Orlando.
The Conrad at Evermore Bay has a $50.00 resort fee that includes WiFi, a one-hour kayak rental, a one-hour paddle board rental, two bottled waters daily, a Disney theme park shuttle, a golf club rental discount, an apparel and merchandise discount at Grand Cypress (golf course), and a spa service discount.
To be clear, guests of the Conrad Hotel have access to the theme park shuttle. However, at this time, a theme park shuttle is not offered at Evermore Bay. A resort shuttle (that’s ADA accessible) is available to take all guests throughout the resort.
When you enter the hotel, you start to see glimpses of Evermore Bay. This expansive pool area contains eight acres of water surrounded by 20 acres of beaches.
The hotel features high-end finishes with unique attributes like this skylight with a modern sculpture element hanging underneath it.
Throughout the hotel, you’ll find casual seating areas. While the hotel has a luxury look and feel, it also offers family-friendly touches that keep it from being too stuffy.
The hallways to the room were clean and simple.
Here is a preview of a regular guest room with a king-size bed. This room accommodates two guests.
I was appreciative of the room’s layout and liked how it had an additional entrance to the bath area near the bed. This would be convenient should you wake in the middle of the night and need to access the bathroom. As someone who stays in hotels regularly, these little details are the ones I notice the most. To me, it says someone has thought about how a guest will use the space.
I don’t think anyone could complain about the size of the guest bath.
Here are a few more photos.
These high-end toiletries were a bonus. I was impressed.
The Nespresso coffee machine was another nice touch.
Both the water closet and walk-in shower had glass doors. Of course, the door to the water closet was frosted.
A small sofa with an ottoman and a casual table took up a corner of the room. This room has solid-surface flooring and a rug around the living space.
Here’s an alternate view of the room.
All of the room’s amenities had an attention to detail.
A table with two casual leather chairs sits in the opposite corner of the room.
Here is a view of Evermore Bay from the room’s balcony.
I agree with what you’re thinking. It’s surreal. Yes, that’s an 8-acre pool. It’s not a lake or the ocean. That is the Four Seasons hotel in the distance on the right. If you zoom in, you can see Spaceship Earth at Epcot and the large blue building that houses Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
Here are a few more views from the room’s balcony.
The photo below shows the entire Walt Disney World skyline. To the right, you can see the top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Bay Lake Tower. So you can see both of Walt Disney World’s nightly fireworks performances from this vantage point.
Here are a few other in-room amenities.
After touring the room, we stepped outside for a look around.
Many of the areas around Evermore Bay had sand. If you don’t care for sand, there were entirely separate pool areas (not photographed) that guests could use at their leisure. We also saw a few areas geared toward smaller children that were in separately fenced areas. So, if you have children who aren’t yet old enough to take on the bay pool, you would still have ample pool and kid-friendly splash options.
This walkway led around the entire bay. I would have loved to walk around it, but at the time, I felt like I needed a fresh application of sunscreen.
Here are a few more photos.
Every now and then, you’ll run into a map that shows where you are and what’s nearby.
They have a good deal of activities designed to keep guests at the resort.
A stunning sandcastle sits along the path featuring both Evermore and the Conrad.
Here are a few more photos I took while making my way back to the car.
Overall, the Conrad Orlando is a beautiful hotel with a pool like no other. We’ve stayed at many hotels in the surrounding area, and even with all of my travel to other destinations, I’ve never seen anything like this. I’m not sure how much time you’ll spend at Walt Disney World or anywhere else in Orlando when you stay here. If and when we do get back for a review, I plan to spend at least two days at the resort without leaving. Seriously, it will probably take me that long to photograph it!
I hope you enjoyed our sneak peek of the Conrado Hotel in Orlando. I was thankful for the opportunity to visit and share some of these photos with you.
