Two New Concierge Lounges Coming to the Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Grand Californian
Disney has announced that two new lounges are coming to the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. The first of these lounges, the High Key Club, will open this summer. The lounge will celebrate the music and sounds of Disneyland Park circa 1955. Guests can expect a mid-century modern design with a colorful and fun aesthetic, delivering the right amount of swank combined with sophistication. Per Disney:
This stylish oasis in the sky will draw inspiration from the enduring legacy of original and classic sounds at Disneyland Park. Celebrating not only music, artists, musicians, and voices, but also unique instruments, bands, foley sounds, and history of audible magic at the park that Walt Disney brought to life, High Key Club will feature a custom soundtrack showcasing the sounds and songs of the park and will display prominent artifacts.
The High Key Club will be almost double the size of the former club-level lounge in Adventure Tower. Concierge guests will have a dedicated place to watch the park’s fireworks, accompanied by music from the performance on the evenings when pyrotechnics are offered. (Unlike Walt Disney World, where nightly performances are held, fireworks are only offered on select evenings at Disneyland.)
Disney also announced that a second club-level lounge will be added to Disney’s Grand California Hotel and Spa. This is in addition to the Veranda concierge lounge. Per Disney:
This newly designed, two-story space will celebrate classic California Craftsman design and will be a perfect spot for lounging with a good book, relaxing with a glass of wine, or admiring the hotel’s Great Hall lobby below. Continuing the hotel’s forest theme of the Great Hall lobby, the new concierge lounge will be inspired by giant sequoias and will be located high in the “treetops” of the 5th and 6th floors — an “aviary” where club level guests can relax, rest and “nest” in luxury and hospitality.
The space will offer the same Californian Craftsman style that showcases the existing lobby architecture, including wrought iron branching and hand-crafted tile murals. The lounge will also allow the direct flow of natural light via expansive skylights. A curved, two-story stained-glass door will lead to a mezzanine. This lounge is expected to be completed in 2026.
Disney also noted that the Creator’s Club opened at Pixar Place Hotel at Disneyland last year. Upon completion, guests can book club-level accommodations at all three Disneyland hotels.
