Disney’s Pop Century Resort Laundry Facilities and Details
You have options if you need to do laundry during your stay at Disney’s Pop Century Resort. Each section of the resort has a laundry room near the pool. In total, Disney’s Pop Century Resort has three laundry facilities. Below, we’ll preview the laundry facilities and details you’ll need to know ahead of your trip.
Laundry rooms at Pop Century are located in the following sections of the resort:
- 50s
- 60s
- 80s and 90s
The only section of the resort that doesn’t have a laundry room is the 70s. If you end up in the 70s section of the resort, you’ll be between the 60s and the 80s/90s section. So you can choose the laundry room closest to your room assignment.
Guests staying in the 60s and 70s section of the resort will want to use the laundry room near the Hippy Dippy Pool. Hippy Dippy is the resort’s feature pool located behind Classic Hall. (Buildings 4, 5, 6, and 10)
The laundry room at Hippy Dippy Pool is in the same building as Petals Pool Bar. If you walk to the side of the bar, you’ll find the laundry area. The pool’s restrooms and changing area are also within the same vicinity.
Another laundry facility at Pop Century sits outside the Bowling Pool in the 50s section of the resort. This laundry facility will be near your room assignment if you stay in buildings 1, 2, or 3.
A third laundry room is near the Computer Pool in the 80s and 90s section of the resort. Guests staying in Buildings 7, 8, and 9 will be near this laundromat. It sits directly between the pool and the 90s building.
All the laundry rooms at Pop Century are sizable. You will need your MagicBand or Key to the World card to access the laundry rooms. Each door has a place to scan your band or card.
Formerly, the laundry rooms had a machine that took credit and debit cards. However, that has changed. Now, you have to scan a QR code with your mobile phone. The instructions on the sign below read:
- Momentarily tap the machine sticker with your NFC-capable smartphone or scan a machine code with your smartphone camera or QR code.
- Pay with Google Pay, Apple Pay, or a credit card.
- Load the machine and press start.
Or you can visit MyCSCGO.com to start your load of laundry.
Each load costs $3.25 per cycle. A separate vending machine sells detergent and fabric softener for $1.00 per package. Make sure to look at the label on the detergent. They are usually suitable for two loads of laundry. The vending machine takes credit and debit cards.
*Disney’s Pop Century does not have a coin laundry option.
*If you want to use Disney’s dry cleaning or valet laundry service, you must drop off your items with bell services before 9:00 a.m. Laundry prices vary per piece of laundry.
Each laundry room at Pop Century has approximately ten washers and twelve dryers. Tables are provided in the center of the room for guests to fold their laundry. A rack is also available if you need to move laundry from machine to machine.
The laundromats usually have a sitting area with a vending machine that offers snacks and drinks. Some of the laundry rooms have a television. But most guests will set an alarm on their phone to remind them to return and retrieve their laundry when it’s finished.

Unfortunately, Disney removed the former Laundry View service that showed what machines were available online. So, you might want to check availability before you take your laundry. Usually, you’ll find plenty of machines. But if it’s a rainy day or a high crowd time, you might be surprised to find other guests doing laundry.
We like to do laundry on a resort day when we plan to sleep late. After getting up, I’ll get a load of laundry started, and then we’ll pick up lunch and enjoy it at the pool. After eating, it’s time to move the laundry to the dryer. Later, we might head out to the resort’s feature pool for the rest of the afternoon. Sometimes, laundry days at Disney turn out to be the most relaxing ones.

Hi, Amber,
Any chance that you might have photos of the showers located in the laundry buildings? We are going soon and have a late flight out on departure day, so we were hoping to see what those look like and whether we could pull off showering there since we have heard late check out is awful at Pop…the housekeepers virtually throw you (or your stuff if it is unattended) out.
Thank you!!
Hi, I’m sorry I don’t have one but will try to think to get one if I’m over that way in the next week! And I hope you don’t have any issues with mousekeeping. I have had several great experiences at the resort.
Thank you for your post. It is quite helpful. Fyi: mobilr app to view laundry machine availability, status and to pay is: mycscgo.com
Thank you so much. I think they’ve recently changed the laundry view service at all the resorts so I have to go back through.
