If you are looking to browse photos of Disney’s Grand Floridian, you’ve come to the right place. Below, you’ll find an overview of the Grand Floridian in photos.
Disney’s Grand Floridian is one of the most stunning resorts at Walt Disney World. And over the years, I’ve accumulated quite a few photos of the resort. So, I thought putting together a post with mostly Grand Floridian pictures would be fun.
We’ll start with photos of the hotel’s exterior and grounds before moving inside to check out the lobby. Then, we’ll move on to a few pictures of the amenities, villas, and more.
So find a comfy spot and get ready to enjoy a few Grand Floridian photos!

Guests along the shoreline between Disney’s Polynesian and Grand Floridian will enjoy some of the resort’s most scenic views.
Several fountains are scattered across the resort’s grounds.
The white siding with a red roof compliments the green grass, shrubs, and trees.
You might even see a bit of Spanish moss, and there’s plenty of wildlife in the area.
Swan topiaries grace the resort’s beautiful backyard.
This area behind the main lobby is probably one of the most photographed spots at the resort.
You can probably see why. Everything here is stunning.
The Courtyard pool sits directly behind the fountain on the opposite side.
Florida’s extraordinary sunsets provide a lovely backdrop for a few photos of the Grand Floridian Hotel in the evening.
There are plenty of places to enjoy the views.
Even in the daytime, these beaches provide pleasant break areas.
In the evening, the resort lights up differently. She’s still just as pretty.
The entrance to the Grand Floridian feels like a greenhouse to me. The starch-white exterior seems to come alive with the green palms and ferns.
If you were to visit during the holiday season, you’d find a pleasant surprise of red poinsettias. Below is an example, and there’s an entirely separate tour of the Grand Floridian at Christmas. And here is a look at the gingerbread house.
The entrance also has a few antique vehicles parked out front.
Usually, you will find extravagant floral arrangements inside the lobby. But these touches are on the back burner at the moment.
It seems like cutting the cost of flowers in the resorts might have been the extra push needed to drive the price of Disney’s stock through the ceiling.
In case you are confused about profits and losses, the end of the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra most definitely counts as a loss.
If you do visit the lobby, make sure to look up at the ceiling. It features domes of frosted stained glass that allow light to enter the space in a complimentary manner.
The lobby is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the company of friends.
There’s a grand staircase right behind the birdcage elevator in the lobby.
The marble floors include the Grand Floridian’s logo. I have a full account of staying here at the resort in the Grand Floridian Resort Review.
The photo below shows the Grand Floridan lobby from the balcony of the 2nd floor.
The resort has so many wonderful dining options. The photo below is of Narcoossee’s. It sits out along the water facing Magic Kingdom Park.
Here are a few photos of the meals we’ve had at Disney’s Grand Floridian. This pizza was an option that I made vegetarian in my Gasparilla Island Grill Review.
And the Grand Floridian Cafe is one of my favorite hidden gem dining locations in all of Disney World.

Guests staying at the resort can enjoy many amenities. Here are a few pictures of the Grand Floridian pools.
This is the beautiful Courtyard pool.
And a photo of the Grand Floridan Beach pool.
There’s even an Alice and Wonderland-themed play area for children!

The villa portion of the resort is part of the Disney Vacation Club. However, any guests can make reservations here based on availability. These photos are all part of that specific area of the resort.
Inside the lobby is where you’ll find the Mary Poppins penguins fountain.
The villa’s building has a beautiful lobby. If you are visiting the resort, I recommend stopping in for a little walk-through.
On our last stay at this resort, we rented points and stayed in the villa section. These are photos of a deluxe studio room at Grand Floridian Villas.
We really enjoyed the layout and upgrades in this room. The sofa is a sleeper, and there’s a trundle bed built into the panel under the TV.
The bath had a tub with a shower.
On the opposite side, a separate walk-in shower was available. And yes, that’s a television built into the mirror. You weren’t seeing things.
An extra bath is a nice option for anyone traveling with children. It offers privacy and the opportunity for multiple people to get ready at the same time.
The extra added bonus in these types of rooms is the kitchenette.
Here are a few more photos of our room at Grand Floridian.
In case you haven’t heard, these deluxe studio villas, along with the entire resort, are receiving total makeovers.
Most have already been completed.
During my stay, I spent a good deal of time out on the balcony.
We had a partial lagoon view.
But the monorail coming by on the right-hand side was the most fun thing.
Outside the villas, you’ll find Senses, a Disney Spa.
Part of the spa serves as the resort’s gym.
The gym is shared with the Polynesian next door. But from my experience, these places are rarely crowded.

Further past the villas is the Grand Floridian wedding chapel. Here are a few photos of the area.
The walkway between Grand Floridian and Magic Kingdom has been a wonderful amenity to the resort.
Being able to walk puts you in control of your travel time to the theme park. Meaning you won’t have to wait in line for the Disney World monorail or boat.
It doesn’t hurt that the views looking back to the resort are remarkable.
But the boat ride isn’t that bad either. If you have an upcoming stay planned, make sure to familiarize yourself with all the different Grand Floridian transportation options.
