Fuentes Del Morro Pool Area to Close for Short-Refurbishment in Mid-January
Disney has announced that the Fuentes del Morro feature pool and the nearby shipwreck play area at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort will close for a brief refurbishment. This notice is a bit of a surprise, considering the area was closed for an extensive refurbishment last year. It’s also a short notice. However, it doesn’t appear that the pool will be closed for an extensive amount of time. Here is the exact wording from Disney’s site:
Beginning January 13, the Fuentes del Morro Feature Pool and Aquatic Play Area will be closed for routine maintenance and is expected to reopen at the end of January. All other resort pools will be available.
Guests can use any of the resort’s other five pools during the closure. Each village has a quiet pool with a nearby laundry area. See the separate article linked below for photos of the pools and more details.
