Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Special Hotel Rates (2024)
If you’re comparing hotel prices at Walt Disney World, Disney’s Swan and Dolphin are worth consideration, depending on your budget. They are currently offering a few special rates that apply to various guests. We’ve listed these rates below, along with a few pros and cons for staying at either hotel.
We are sharing these rates as a service to our readers and do not receive any value or compensation for providing this information. We have stayed at both hotels (out-of-pocket) and think they are excellent options, especially if you can take advantage of one of these special rates.
Since the Swan and Dolphin are independently owned and operated, they will have resort and parking fees, where applicable. It is now required that resorts disclose resort fees in the total price. So you won’t have to worry about hidden charges. But you’ll need to account for parking fees if you have a car.
Before writing this article, I checked a few rates and felt that everything was clearly displayed, including the area at the bottom that reminds guests of additional parking charges. Here is a screenshot showing an example of a week in mid-July.
Special Rates for 2024
The Swan and Dolphin are often more reasonably priced than the neighboring Epcot Resorts: Beach Club, Yacht Club, and Boardwalk Inn. So, check these rates and see how they add up. Then, read over our other considerations below to know what benefits you will and won’t have compared to a Disney Resort Hotel.

Pros and Cons
If any of these rates piqued your interest, consider a few pros and cons. We have a good deal of coverage of the Swan and Dolphin Hotels, but I’ll list the main considerations to give you an idea:
Pros
- You’ll receive early theme park entry access like other Disney Resort Hotels and good neighbor hotels.
- Since the Swan and Dolphin are considered deluxe resorts, you’ll have access to extended evening hours in the theme parks on select nights throughout the week.
- You will be within walking distance of Hollywood Studios and Epcot, or you can take the boat if you prefer not to walk.
- The Swan and Dolphin’s Grotto Pool is one of the best around, and it is high on our list of the best resort pools at Disney World.
Negatives
- You will not have charging privileges if you decide to purchase a MagicBand. You also won’t be able to open your hotel room door with a MagicBand. (That said, MagicBands are convenient, but they aren’t nearly as big of a deal as they were a few years back.)
- Bus service to Magic Kingdom drops you off at the Transportation and Ticket Center instead of the Magic Kingdom bus stop. So you’ll have to take the ferry or monorail to Magic Kingdom. This will take approximately 30 extra minutes of travel time when you visit Magic Kingdom.
- These hotels often host business conventions. So you might see more convention guests than you do those on family trips.
Other than that, the location is incredible, and the hotels are unique. Both are in the process of being renovated with new room furnishings. The hotels are large, so there is almost always some sort of update happening. For more information, you might enjoy our Swan and Dolphin Resort Guide.
