Disney Lakeshore Lodge, a New Disney Vacation Club Resort, To Open in 2027
It’s no secret that Disney recently began constructing a new hotel along the shoreline of Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. Many of us have speculated that it’s the resurrection of Reflections: A Disney Lakeside Lodge, which was initially announced in 2018. At that time, it was to become “a unique hotel and proposed Disney Vacation Club resort inspired by the wonders of nature and artistry of Walt Disney.”
Unfortunately, COVID-19 brought an abrupt halt to the cleared construction site. Since then, other than a few publicly filed permit extensions for the resort, Disney has remained silent about the hotel’s future. But now, we know more.
Today, the Disney Vacation Club has announced that Disney Lakeshore Lodge (new name) will open in 2027. The resort will have the same footprint as the previously announced Reflections–A Disney Lakeside Lodge Resort. {H/T Scott Gustin on X}
