Christmas at Disney's Yacht And Beach Club (with Lots of Holiday Photos)

It wouldn’t be Christmas without a proper visit to Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club to see the entirety of the seasonal decor. In addition to the popular gingerbread displays and Christmas Village train set, the sister resorts offer much more holiday appeal than expected.

That holiday appeal includes nautical Christmas decorations at Disney’s Yacht Club and soft seaside decor at Disney’s Beach Club. If you, in any way, have an affinity for the sea, you’ll be delighted with the Christmas decorations between the resorts.

So come along as we set sail for Christmas at Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club. We’ll start on the Yacht Club side of the resort and work our way over to the Beach Club.

As you approach Disney’s Yacht Club, you’re greeted by light poles dressed in festive garland.

I don’t know about you, but the only red flags I ever care to see are the ones at Disney’s Yacht Club.

Two white poinsettias reminded me of peace, which we so desperately need.

If you’ve ever visited Disney’s Yacht Club, you probably remember this large set of potted plants. Several bright red poinsettias and begonias have been added for the holiday season.

Upon entry, you’re greeted by a tall, handsome Christmas Tree.

Yacht Club’s tree is a favorite for many with its unique decor.

Taking a closer look, you’ll notice the tree is decorated with miniature boats.

These little touches add a lot.

Everywhere you look, you’ll see an attention to detail.

A large train set sits toward the back corner of the Yacht Club’s lobby. This year, the Christmas Village is accompanied by a gingerbread lighthouse display. We have a separate article that details these pieces.

We see a few more wreaths on the Yacht Club side of the resort. One of the things I tend to notice is that each wreath is different. Some are hard to tell, while others are strikingly distinct. Yet, they all still work together.

A walkway runs between Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club. It’s a pleasant walk that continues outside momentarily and passes Stormalong Bay. Stormalong Bay is the magnificent pool area that’s shared between the resorts. Along the way, you’ll notice these strands of garland around the open areas of Ale and Compass.

Outside, we start to see large holiday wreaths on the Beach Club side of the resort.

Again, each wreath is unique.

This one, in particular, caught my eye.

It has the cutest hidden Mickey.

Returning inside, we’ve made it to Disney’s Beach Club. The planters around Cape May Cafe are brimming with hot pink poinsettias.

Here are a few of the decorations on the trees.

A gingerbread carousel sits between the trees. We have a separate article with photos and a video of the carousel. It’s a masterpiece that moves like a real carousel.

We’ll continue our way to The Solarium.

The Solarium was recently refurbished and has matching Christmas decorations this year. Usually, this area of the resort is decorated with traditional reds and greens. But this year, everything matches. Regardless, the resort’s refurbishment turned out well. When we finish up with Christmas, we’ll have a fresh look at the resort.

We’ll continue to the Beach Club Villas. I was told all the rooms here had been completed during our stay. But the DVC pool was drained and is being resurfaced. I wouldn’t imagine it will be finished anytime soon.

If you have never been to the villas, you might enjoy taking a few moments to visit. They have a pretty lobby with a pleasant sitting area.

Overall, the Christmas decorations at Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club are worth seeing. If you’re at Epcot on a busy day and need to escape, you can exit at the International Gateway and walk or boat to the Beach Club, Yacht Club, and Boardwalk to tour the resorts and see their holiday decorations.

You might also plan a meal here on a resort day and take the time to see everything. There’s plenty to do and see in the Epcot Resorts Area. You might enjoy doing a full resort-hopping tour of the area.
