The Egg-Citing 2024 Easter Egg Display at Disney’s Contemporary
We continue on our bunny hop to tour the Easter egg display at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. This year’s display was moved to a more prominent location on the resort’s ground floor with significantly better lighting. It is very difficult for resorts to showcase these displays in areas where guests can enjoy them, so kudos to the Contemporary for setting up this egg-cellent display! Now, if someone will tell me where the five-legged goat was hidden. I couldn’t find him anywhere!
The golden egg sits in the center of this year’s display. It’s a classic, just like the Contemporary. Did you ever get a prize for finding the golden egg? If I remember correctly, a golden egg around our house was worth a $10 bill.
Signage at the resort mentions that this year’s display consists of seven new eggs: Vanellope Von Schweetz, Fantasia, Mr. Potato Head, Little Mermaid, Minnie’s Cookie Jar, Mickey’s Popcorn Bucket, and Eve from Wall-E. The display features ten hidden Mickey’s and one hidden five-legged goat.
Returning favorites include this Mary Blair-inspired egg referencing, ‘it’s a small world.”
Here are a few more photos of the eggs:
This next Easter egg is new to the display this year. It is showcased in one of the windows of the BVG (Bayview Gifts) on the resort’s 4th floor.
Lastly, we find Hyacinth Hippo and Ben Ali Gator from Fantasia in another window display at the BVG, reminding us that life, love, and friendships are balancing acts.
