Disney World Resort Hotels (By Category, Location, and Transportation Type)
Planning a stay at a Walt Disney World Resort involves navigating a maze of options. From hotels categorized by location and price to the varied modes of transportation, the decisions can get overwhelming. If you’re aiming to match your ideal resort to one or more of these factors, we can help simplify the process.
Below, we’ve listed each option and the resorts that fall underneath them. We started with a complete list of every Disney Resort Hotel, including the villa resorts that are part of larger resorts. For instance, Bay Lake Tower, a Disney Vacation Club, is part of Disney’s Contemporary Resort. If you wanted to stay at Bay Lake Tower you would reserve it separately. However, most amenities, like major dining options and transportation, would be next door at Disney’s Contemporary. You would walk across the bridge between the towers to access them.
After the initial list, each resort hotel is classified by category, location, and type. For example, Disney’s All-Star Resorts fall under the value resort category. They are located in the Animal Kingdom Resorts Area and only offer bus transportation. Now, let’s unravel the knot a little further.
