Extended Evening Hours Updates Shift to Hollywood Studios This Fall
As we prepare for Disney’s new Lightning Lane system to launch next week, a few updates regarding Extended Evening Hours are worth mentioning. Extended evening hours are offered twice weekly to deluxe and deluxe villa resort guests. Throughout the majority of the year, those hours are at Epcot on Monday evenings and at Magic Kingdom on Wednesday evenings.
However, during the Fall, we’ve often seen the benefit shift to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. As of today, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is listed in the My Disney Experience app as offering extended theme park hours on September 25th. At this time, those hours are scheduled between 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. We anticipate seeing more of this offering at Hollywood Studios (and hopefully Disney’s Animal Kingdom) between September 25th and the end of the year.
As your vacation approaches, you will want to check the schedule for these hours and plan your park days accordingly. The easiest way is to open the My Disney Experience app and scroll down to Park Hours and Info. Then, swipe the calendar until you reach your dates. Typically, the calendar shows 60-70 days out. When you highlight the specific date, you can scroll down to each park to see any extra offerings. Here are a few screenshots of what to look for.
UPDATE: Earlier this week, we posted the direct quote from Disney’s website below that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure had been added to the Extended Evening Hours list of attractions. Since then, Disney removed the attraction from the list. We will provide an update if and when this changes.
At 6:00 PM on nights with extended evening theme park hours at Magic Kingdom park, these Guests can request to join the virtual queue for:
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure- TRON Lightcycle / Run
Guests do not need to be in Magic Kingdom park when they request to join the virtual queue.
