Disney World to Host Post Celebratory Super Bowl Parade with Game MVP Jalen Hurts
Last night, the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX. As custom, the Super Bowl MVP announced after the game that he was going to The Most Magical Place on Earth, the Walt Disney World Resort, to celebrate. If you are visiting Magic Kingdom Park today, February 10, 2025, you’ll have a special opportunity to witness the celebration. Here are the details:
- Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts to lead parade at Magic Kingdom Park at 2:30 p.m. ET on Monday, February 10th.
Per Disney: This is the second time a Philadelphia Eagles player has said “I’m Going to Disney World” after winning the Super Bowl. Here is an excerpt from the Disney Parks Blog announcement.
Hurts is the second Eagles player to celebrate an NFL championship at a Disney Park. The tradition started back in 1987 with New York Giants quarterback Phil Simms being the first to say “I’m Going to Disney World” after winning the Super Bowl. Over the years, many of the game’s greatest players have followed in those footsteps.
During the big game Sunday night, Hurts shined bright, leading his team to victory against the two-time defending champion Kansas City Chiefs. The MVP threw two touchdowns passes and ran for another score. Hurts also set a new Super Bowl record for the most rushing yards by a quarterback with 72 yards on 11 carries. It was Eagles domination from start to finish and a performance that is truly worthy of magical celebration.
If you’re visiting Magic Kingdom Park today, we recommend finding a prime spot along Main Street U.S.A. well ahead of the parade. It will be a rare and unique opportunity to experience a little extra pixie dust!
