Disney’s Confirms Location of New Monsters, Inc -Themed Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

It’s official! The new Monster’s Inc.-themed land announced earlier this year for Walt Disney World will be built on the south side of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. More specifically, this land will replace Muppets Courtyard. Here is a look at the new concept art that depicts the land’s location.

As we previously discussed, the Muppets will move to the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, where fans will still be able to celebrate their presence in the park. Per Disney: In the meantime, there’s still enough time to catch a super-stretch limo to the Forum to enjoy Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith and catch Muppet*Vision 3D again before their final curtain calls.

The new Monsters, Inc. land will introduce a suspended ride that recreates the door vault from the original film. It will also be home to dining, shopping, and a new theater show. Work on this project is slated to begin in 2025. Disney released concept art earlier this year, representing the new attraction.
