The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh Ride
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is located in Fantasyland across the walkway from Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Guests can join the standby queue or use Lightning Lane if they purchased the Multi Pass upgrade.
This attraction features an interactive queue where children can visit Eeyore’s home, explore Rabbit’s garden, and use a touch screen to paint with honey. It’s a fun area that allows children to stay entertained while standing in line.

Of course, thousands of children touch these interactive elements daily. So, while they are a nice touch (no pun intended), they are a bit germy. We always like to carry a pack of wet wipes for this type of thing.

The storybook pages are another fun element in The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. You can read along as you make your way through the queue.

As you approach the loading area, you get to the point in the story where Winnie the Pooh asks Christopher Robin for a balloon.

Ride vehicles for this attraction are shaped like a “hunny pot.”

Each car holds two guests in the front row and two in the back row. If needed, one adult might be able to ride with two small children on the same row. A lap restraint secures each row of guests.

After you’re secured, the hunny pot takes off into the pages of the story!

You’ll immediately realize it’s a blustery day in the Hundred Acre Wood. Piglet is holding on for dear life. Gopher has popped his head up from underground.

Winnie the Pooh is taking advantage of the wind and using the balloon to fly up to the tree like a bee to retrieve honey. Eeyore seems unsure if it will work.

It appears the wind has caused a little trouble for Rabbit.

Meanwhile, Roo is grasping Kanga’s red scarf as she desperately tries to reel him to safety.

Then you’ll pass through Owl’s house. Look up, and you’ll see him overhead. About this time, you’ll run into Tigger. Special effects make your ride vehicle bounce up and down throughout this scene. After all, bouncing is one of the wonderful things about Tigger. It’s what he does best!

While The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh isn’t what I would call a dark ride, you do pass through a dark scene during Pooh’s dream.

If you watch closely, you’ll see Pooh in his pajamas, dozing by the window of his home. Then, as he dozes off, his dream sequence begins.

You’ll then enter his dream world, where Heffalumps lurk and Woozles spring from all around. Beware!

As Pooh wakes up from the dream, we find the storm in the Hundred Acre Woods has caused a flood. Tigger and the rest of the gang have created a human rope to save Piglet from falling over Floody Place Falls.

Of course, Pooh is busy getting honey to fill his honey pots!

As Piglet is rescued, we enter the story’s last page, where everyone is shouting, “Hooray!”

Thankfully, the weather has improved.

Pooh looks on from above, covered and smothered in honey.

Fun Facts:
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh opened at Walt Disney World in 1999. It replaced an original opening-day attraction, Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, based on Kenneth Grahame’s classic novel The Wind in the Willows. Disney Imagineers added a mural in Owl’s house depicting Mr. Toad handing over the deed to Owl to commemorate the former attraction’s memory. If you look for it closely, you might see it.

Resorts Gal Traffic Signals
Green Light
We give an attraction the green light if we consider it a must-do, regardless of the posted wait. We also give the green light for attractions we deem suitable to experience anytime. For example, some attractions have high capacities. Therefore, the lines continuously move and you shouldn’t have a long wait unless the attraction experiences downtime.
Red Light
We recommend checking the posted wait times for red light attractions. Then, make a quick judgment call on whether to wait, skip it, or return later. We also red light some attractions that we feel might not be suitable based on our experience.
