Lightning Lane Premier Pass Pilot Program Coming Soon to Walt Disney World
Disney has announced a new pilot program for Walt Disney World. This program will debut on October 30, 2024, at the Walt Disney World Resort. It will only be available to guests of deluxe or deluxe villa resorts on launch, and guests may purchase it up to seven days in advance of their stay.
According to Disney, the Lightning Lane Premier Pass will allow guests a one-time entry to each available Lightning Lane entrance in the park they are visiting that day. Both Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass attractions are included. The best bonus of the offering is that you do not have to select a time to experience an attraction.
Prices will vary per day, but the service is expected to range between $129.00 to $449.00 per person + tax. Per Disney:
Prices for Lightning Lane Premier Passes vary by date and theme park. At launch, prices will range from $129 to $449 (per pass, plus tax), with the highest prices falling on a limited number of days over peak travel periods. Eligible Guests will be able to view prices in the My Disney Experience app.
Disney notes that Lightning Lane Premier Pass will initially only be offered in limited quantities and will allow guests a one-time entry to the park they are visiting that day. They also emphasize that it will only be valid for use in one park per day (guests can choose whichever park they desire). So at the time of launch, it will not work for park-hopping.
