2024 Epcot Topiaries List (Photos with Where to Find Them)
Epcot is in full bloom for the 2024 International Flower and Garden Festival, which means topiaries are beginning to sprout in select areas of the park. Below, we’ve provided a list of topiaries you can find during the festival, along with numerous photos and where to find each one.
If you’re visiting Walt Disney World during Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival, we highly recommend seeing the topiaries. They are incredible works of art. You, along with your friends and family, will have memories for years to come discussing your favorites. This year’s festival dates run from February 28th through May 27th.

Disney Film, Wish (Asha, Valentino, and Star)
Location: Park’s Main Entrance
This topiary is new for 2024. Below, we have Asha with Wish and Valentio from Disney’s animated film Wish.
Figment, Flower Topiaries, and Flower Towers World Celebration
Location: World Celebration Plaza
Figment was relocated this year to the new planter in the World Celebration Plaza that opened this past December. He was formerly in front of the Imagination Pavilion.
Huey, Dewey, and Louie
Location: World Discovery (Between Mission: Space and Test Track)
This trio is located on the right side of the Test Track in the World Discovery area of the park. They are carrying garden tools. This is a fun stop for a photo, especially if you catch the monorail coming through.
Ducktails?
Donald Duck
Location: World Celebration (Near Connections Café)
Donald Duck sits at the border between World Celebration and World Discovery. He’s been here for a couple of years at the community garden. Daisy is usually with him, but we’re unsure if she’ll make an appearance this year. (Unfortunately, Daisy did not return this year.)
Bambi and Friends
Location: World Showcase Promenade (Close to Refreshment Port and Canada)
This trio of topiaries has moved several times over the years. This time, we find them across the path from Refreshment Port near the Canada Pavilion.
Bambi is endearing.
Thumper has a sweet pose.
Flower is a bit bashful with all the attention.
Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy
Location: World Discovery (Near Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind)
This incredible topiary is new this year. It features young Groot holding a Green-House mix. While the cassette tape appears to be broken, listen and look closely if you’re in the area. Now and then, you’ll hear a song from the soundtrack. When the music begins to play, the inner wheels of the tape spin. Who doesn’t love a good spin?
Buzz Lightyear
Location: World Discovery (Near Mission: SPACE)
Buzz Lightyear returns to his post in front of Mission: SPACE. His outfit has an exceptional attention to detail.
Woody, Bo Peep, and Her Sheep
Location: World Nature (Near the Imagination Pavilion)
The Toy Story characters were relocated to the area near the Imagination Pavilion this year. Here are a few photos. (This is where The Lion King’s topiary has been the past couple of years.)
Simba and Friends (Rafiki, Simba, Mufasa, and Sarabi)
Location: World Nature (Near the Land Pavilion)
The Lion King topiary sits across the walkway from Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana. This topiary features Mufasa and his family, with Rafiki lifting Simba in the background.
Here’s a closer look.
This is another fun angle where you can get the monorail in the background if you time it right. Usually, two monorails run simultaneously between Epcot and the Transportation and Ticket Center. So you can expect to see one approximately every 12 minutes when things operate smoothly.
Here are a few more photos of this Epcot topiary.
Pumbaa and Timon
Location: World Nature (Close to Journey of Water Inspired by Moana)
Timon and Pumbaa are sitting to the left of Mufasa and family. I nearly missed them because I was walking toward the front of the park, and they were on my left. Thankfully, I saw them before I left the area.
Goofy
Location: Rosewalk (Path between Imagination Pavilion and World Showcase)
Goofy was added to Epcot’s floral mural on the World Nature side. We’ve been covering this festival for a long time and have never seen a topiary added to this park area. He’s blowing a dandelion toward Spaceship Earth. I wonder what he wished for.
While I was taking this photo, a couple of ladies asked if I would take their photo. I lined them up at an angle between Goofy and Spaceship Earth, and it made for a fun photo. They seemed happy with the outcome. I’m unsure if it was using or breaking the law of thirds.
Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Chip, Dale, and Pluto
Location: Bridge to World Showcase
As construction begins to wrap up at Epcot (at least, I hope), we see Mickey Mouse and friends enjoying a picnic near the bridge between the World Celebration Plaza and the World Showcase. These were the most difficult to photograph because so many guests travel through this area. But it’s a fun topiary display.
Encanto (Mirabel, Antonio, Isabela, and Luisa)
Location: World Showcase (Near Disney Traders and Port of Entry)
Last year, this Encanto topiary was featured at the park’s front entrance. This year, it has been relocated to the World Showcase Plaza between Disney Traders and Port of Entry.
Coco (Miguel and Dante)
Location: Mexico Pavilion in World Showcase
This topiary is new for 2024.
Anna and Elsa
Location: Norway Pavilion in World Showcase
Anna and Elsa sit in front of the Norway Pavilion. This is a lovely spot for the pair. A gorgeous display of spring flowers surrounds them.
Troll
Location: Norway Pavilion in World Showcase
Pandas
Location: Canada Pavilion in World Showcase
The pandas are a staple topiary in the China Pavilion. Two babies play in the grass alongside the momma bear. Giant pandas are highly revered in China.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Location: Germany Pavilion in World Showcase
Snow White and Dopey were in place on this visit. We hope to see the rest of the Seven Dwarfs soon. They are a magnificent set of topiaries.
Lady and the Tramp
Location: Italy Pavilion in World Showcase
Another classic, Lady and the Tramp sits in the center of the Italy Pavilion. This is another nice placement that blossoms over time as the flowers grow.
Their eyes tell it all.
Tiana
Location: The American Adventure Pavilion
Dragon
Location: Japan Pavilion Near the Torii Gate
The succulent dragon returns to the Japan Pavilion this year. We love this topiary and think it is an excellent photo spot with the Torii Gate and Spaceship Earth in the backdrop.
While the fireworks structure sits on the water in the background, I felt it wasn’t too noticeable at this angle.
Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy
Location: Between France and Morocco Pavilions in World Showcase
Miss Piggy and Kermit return to the area between the Morocco and France Pavilion. This seems to be a nice place for them. They are a vibrant pair.
Miss Piggy gives her best pageant wave.
Beauty and the Beast
Location: France Pavilion in World Showcase
We have a unique photo of Beauty and the Beast below that was used with a lens blur tool that recently popped up in Lightroom. It almost gives the topiary a cut-out look. The tool had difficulty deciding what to do with Belle’s arms.
As much as I enjoy photography, I don’t spend as much time trying new things as I would like. The truth is that I spent two hours taking topiary photos at Epcot. Then, I spent approximately two hours downloading, processing, and editing them. It took about an hour to decide which ones I wanted to use, name each file, and insert them into this post. After that, I label most of them and then start the process of writing. I don’t usually mention this kind of thing because this is what I choose to do, and I enjoy it. But sadly, our photos end up on other sites without our permission or proper credit. It’s a frustrating position to be in because I am respectful of others and wish no ill will on anyone. But I want our readers to know that when you visit this site, you support someone who has done the work and taken pride in the job. And it’s not just me. Many Disney-focused blogs are in the same position that do quality work and have to deal with this kind of thing.
Anyway, this one is always a classic.
Lumiere and Cogsworth
Location: France Pavilion in World Showcase
Lumiere and Cogsworth sit toward the front of the France Pavilion. They have been in this spot for a few years.
Butterfly and Flower Towers
Location: International Gateway Entrance
Several butterflies are scattered throughout Epcot during the festival. We’ll return for a closer look at the International Gateway display.
Winnie the Pooh and Friends (Rabbit, Eeyore, Piglet, and Tigger)
Location: United Kingdom Pavilion in World Showcase
Winnie the Pooh and Friends are stationed outside the United Kingdom Pavilion. They are a classic that everyone seems to enjoy.
While Rabbit is not my favorite character, he is one of my favorite topiaries. I absolutely adore the yellow-leafy plants they used to create him this year. To me, this look stands out more than most of the others.
Tinker Bell’s Fairy House Garden
Location: United Kingdom Pavilion in World Showcase
Peter Pan, Captain Hook, and Tick Tock Croc
Location: Between the United Kingdom and Canada Pavilions in World Showcase
This classic topiary features a duel between Captain Hook and Peter Pan. Captain Hook’s jacket is vibrant in purple(ish) red plants
These two have many colorful details.
Peter Pan is obviously taunting Hook.
Tick Tock sits nearby, ready to pounce.
Geese
Location: Canada Pavilion in World Showcase
Here are a few extra photos from the start of the festival.
Final Thoughts
We hope you enjoyed this photo post of the 2024 Epcot topiaries. As many of you know, our primary focus is on providing information based on our experiences at the Walt Disney World Hotel and Resorts. If you are planning to visit and would enjoy spending a decent amount of time at Epcot for the Flower and Garden Festival or other festivals, we recommend staying in the Epcot Resorts Area.
Here are the reviews of the resorts we would choose:
- Disney’s Beach Club Review
- Disney’s Yacht Club Review
- Disney’s Boardwalk Inn Review
- Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Review
- Disney’s Swan Reserve Review
With any of these resorts, you can walk into Epcot’s International Gateway to visit the festival at your leisure. We also recommend a park-hopper ticket option so you can visit the other parks as you choose. But spend more evenings and early mornings at Epcot.
