Everything Towels at Disney’s Blizzard Beach
If you plan a trip to Disney’s Blizzard Beach, you’ll likely need towels to dry off at some point. Thankfully, towel rentals are available to off-site guests, and complimentary towels are provided to Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests. If you’re visiting from off-site, towel rentals are $2.00 each. Guests can rent or pick up towels at Frostbite Freddy’s Frozen Freshments near the front of the park or inside the gift shop.
How Disney Water Parks Operate
It’s important to note that Disney’s water parks operate on a rotational schedule. Blizzard Beach is typically open between early November and March, and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is open between March and November. You’ll want to check the exact hours and availability for your visit.
Towels are usually near the register inside the gift shop. The cast member at the register can check your MagicBand, Keys to the World card, or My Disney Experience app to verify you’re a resort hotel guest. If so, they will provide as many towels as you need. Off-site guests have to pay the $2.00 rental charge.
Frostbite Freddy’s also has towels available near the lockers. This is usually the most convenient place to rent towels. When you are finished, you just have to return the towel to the bins outside the restrooms and changing areas.
The towels are the same solid white ones used at every Disney Resort hotel pool. If you need to rent a towel, consider when you’ll use it. We probably wouldn’t rent one until right before lunch. That way, we could dry off a bit before enjoying a meal. Of course, we usually drive to the water parks and bring towels from home. We always rent a locker at Blizzard Beach to store our towels and other personal items.
While not guaranteed, cast members often let anyone get a towel toward the end of the day. I’ve forgotten one a few times, and they’ve been gracious enough to provide one at no extra charge. For more information about Disney’s Blizzard Beach, you might enjoy
