The Scoop on Upgraded Seating Options at Blizzard Beach: Lodge Umbrellas and Polar Patios
Those looking for a dedicated place to relax when visiting Disney’s Blizzard Beach might consider upgraded seating. Options at the water park include Lodge Umbrellas and Polar Patios. These private seating options and cabanas offer amenities to enhance your water park visit. Below, we’ll discuss both options, including each level’s price, location, and amenities.
While cabana rentals are expensive, you might consider them worth the extra cost, depending on your circumstances. We enjoy having a cabana if we’re going to spend an entire day at the park or a pool. They are especially nice when traveling with a multi-generational group that prefers to take extended breaks in the shade. For example, you might have a grandparent who wouldn’t usually visit a water park but that you also don’t want to leave behind in the hotel room all day. They might enjoy relaxing in the shade with a good book while the rest of the family comes and goes.
How Disney Water Parks Operate
It’s important to note that Disney’s water parks operate on a rotational schedule. Blizzard Beach is typically open between early November and March, and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is open between March and November. You’ll want to check the exact hours and availability for your visit.
