EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival

Epcot’s International Flower and Garden Festival is held in the Spring. This festival is known for its outstanding topiary displays and outdoor kitchens. In our opinion, it’s the most wonderful time of year to visit Epcot. Below is a preview of everything you can expect at this year’s festival. We update this guide as new items are released. So check back often for more details leading up to the festival.

2025 Dates: March 5th through June 2nd

New at This Year’s Festival

We’ll add new information for this year’s Flower and Garden Festival here as it’s announced.

Moana-Inspired Topiary: This topiary will greet guests at the park’s entrance. The creation will feature Moana, Maui, Pua, and Heihei.

Phineas and Ferb Character Topiary: While not brand new, this character topiary returns after a decade of being absent at the festival!

Playalong Bay Play Garden presented by Smucker’s Uncrustables: A new nautically-themed playground will debut along the walkway between the Imagination Pavilion and the World Showcase.

Two New Outdoor Kitchens: This year we’ll see two new kitchens offering seafood and following along with the same nautical vibe as the playground and neighboring Epcot Resorts. The kitchens will be called Yacht Grub and Beach Grub as a play on the names of Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club.

A New Garden Inspired by Inside Out 2: This new garden will be located in World Celebration.

CommuniCore Hall Exhibit: This location will offer a new gallery where guests can learn more about how Disney’s Horticulture team brings topiaries, flower towers and more to the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. 

PhotoPass Shots: This year’s festival will feature two new PhotoPass shots, including a Figment Topiary Magic Shot. (Some returning photo effects will also be available.)

Topiary Displays

One of our favorite pastimes is visiting the festival to see the remarkable topiary displays. Each year, new and returning creations are placed throughout the park. Here are a few of the ones that will be available this year. (See the guide below for all updates.)

Garden Graze

The Garden Graze is back for this year’s festival. Guests can purchase five items from a selection of ten dedicated items to participate. Once you’ve purchased five of the items and received a stamp in your festival passport, you can trade it the passport for a complimentary treat at Pineapple Promenade. Garden Rocks Concert Series

If you visit during the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival, you’ll be privy to special performances from artists ranging from globally known to local acts. The concert series is held three times nightly in the America Gardens Theatre in the American Adventure Pavilion. The article below previews this year’s upcoming performers.

Garden Rocks Dining Package

Dates for the 2025 Garden Rocks Dining Packages are now available.

Butterfly Landing

Step inside this observatory to see butterflies in a kaleidoscope of colors up close. Last year’s Butterfly Landing was located between the Imagination and Land Pavilion.

Scavenger Hunts

Two scavenger hunts are usually available throughout the Flower and Garden Festival.

• Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration: Look for Spike the Bee as he leaves a pollination trail throughout various gardens and flower beds throughout the festival.
• Egg-Stravaganza Hunt: This limited-time scavenger hunt is available in the weeks before Easter. Search the park for eggs resembling beloved Disney bunnies!

Each scavenger hunt typically costs $9.95 (prices subject to change) and includes a prize. We like to pick up the prize at the time of purchase so we don’t forget it later.

Festival Merchandise

Unique merchandise is created yearly to celebrate the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. Items can be found at select locations throughout the park. You can preview the three initial lines that have been released so far in the article below.

Disney releases the dates for each year’s festival a couple of months in advance. We keep a running tally of when dates are announced along with the previous year’s festival dates to provide some guidance for our readers. You can preview those dates in the article below.
