Through the Years: Woody, Bo Peep, and Sheep Topiaries at Epcot’s Flower and Garden

Hey, Howdy, Hey! We could not stop in to see the Buzz Lightyear topiary without a nod to Woody, Bo Peep, and her sheep (Billy, Goat, and Gruff). Speaking of nods, Sheriff Woody’s character topiary is tipping his hat to all who pass by. Meanwhile, Bo Peep, with staff in hand is tending to her sheep. This is such a fun topiary quintet, especially for Toy Story fans!
Like other articles in our “Through the Years” series, we’ll preview a few then and now photos. We’ll start with the first year we photographed the festival in 2019. You might notice the former Mouse Gears sits in the background of the photo below.

Woody and Bo Peep were among the upgraded topiaries that had begun to receive detailed faces around that time.

By 2021, they had moved to an area between the Land Pavilion and the construction zone.

A unique angle shows Woody looking toward the construction of CommuniCore Hall and Spaceship Earth in the distance. Little did we know at the time that this area wouldn’t be complete until 2024.

Not much had changed the following year in 2023.

Then, in 2024, they moved across the walkway, a little closer to Journey of Water Inspired by Moana.

We saw a huge change in the sheep’s “wool” last year. I thought this was a fun new look. However, I think the original version looks more like the sheep from the film franchise.

Woody, Bo Peep, and Sheep return to this year’s Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. For more articles in this series, you might enjoy the following:
