A Look Back at The Three Caballeros Topiary at Epcot’s International Flower and Garden Festival

Unfortunately, we haven’t seen The Three Caballeros topiary at Epcot since 2023. You may remember that it was replaced by the new Miguel and Dante (Coco) topiary in 2024. This trio was formerly found perched at the end of the walkway leading to the World Showcase from The Odyssey, just outside the Mexico Pavilion. All three birds of a feather are featured in an attraction inside the pavilion’s pyramid, the Gran Fiesta Tour. I don’t know about you but it’s hard for me to look at the trio without the ride’s charming song (The Three Caballeros) coming to mind.

By 2021, the entire trio had played musical chairs and landed in a new order in the same location.

They reappeared in the same order in 2023. Donald had a few yellow buttons added to his jacket, and their hats were missing their former red rim.

Here is a shot of their unique tail feathers.

I hope that 2023 was not the last time we see the the topiary trio at Epcot. But it makes sense to change things up occasionally. The Coco topiary is also pretty incredible and one we consider a must see.

Of course, you can find Donald Duck in topiary form with his nephews nearby this year in the Community Garden in front of Connections Eatery. For other festival favorites, you might like to preview Anna and Elsa’s topiaries. The Norway Pavilion is also home to a troll topiary who we recently realized had changed significantly through the years. Lastly, we stopped to see another classic, the Lady and the Tramp topiary in Epcot’s Italy Pavilion.
