Character Spotlight: Edna Mode from ‘The Incredibles’ at Disney World

Have you ever met anyone more fabulous than Edna Mode? If you haven’t had the opportunity to meet her, you’re in for a treat when you visit Walt Disney World. Edna Mode is a supporting character in The Incredibles films who designs the Parr family’s super suits. Not only are the super suits stylish, but they are also incredibly technologically advanced. They are so note-worthy that you can see them on display at the Edna Mode Experience at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which is also the traditional meet-and-greet location for the superhero fashion designer. Since the suits make up the queue, you can check them out while you wait to meet Edna. • The Edna Mode Experience: This location is open daily at Disney’s Hollywood Studios between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. You’ll want to check the My Disney Experience app for exact hours on the day of your visit.

Seasonal:

• Edna Mode is part of the character lineup at Disney’s Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. (2023, 2024)

Timeline:

• The Edna Mode Experience originally opened in 2019 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Unfortunately, it closed for several years between 2020 and 2023 due to the pandemic.
• Edna Mode debuted as part of the Pixar Pals character motorcade at Disney’s Hollywood Studios when the parks reopened after the COVID-19 closure in 2020.
• She was formerly part of Mickey’s Boo To You Parade. However, her unit was cut from the parade in 2023.
• When the character motorcades ended, Edna Mode had a character sighting inside a small, fenced lawn area at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Guests could walk up and wave to her from a distance. (Early 2023)
• The Edna Mode Experience reopened at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in May 2023.
