Scheduled Character Appearances Will Be Available at Select Disney Resort Hotels This Summer

With summer right around the corner, Disney has announced a series of fun events geared toward kids in 2025. One of those events will be more character meet-and-greets at select Disney Resort Hotels. However, you won’t have to run into these characters by chance. You’ll be able to find posted schedules in the resort’s lobby that confirm their availability.
Disney has already been testing this process at a few resorts. Guests staying at Disney’s Art of Animation have recently found signs in the lobby announcing when characters would be available that day. Unfortunately, at this time, the scheduled appearances will only be available at select resorts. Here are the hotels you can expect:
- Disney’s Art of Animation
- Disney’s Pop Century Resort
- Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
- Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
Per Disney: Guests of these hotels will be privy to special activities, including character visits with set appearance times to help you plan your day and an expanded itinerary of things to do with your family throughout your stay at these four resorts. Update: These appearances will be available between May 27th through September 1, 2025.

As of now, we don’t know if any of the regular characters will change. We typically see Goofy, Chip and Dale, Donald Duck, and Pluto at the resorts more than any other characters. We have a separate review that shares our experiences seeing characters at the resorts.
