Through the Years: Peter Pan Character Topiaries at Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival

We remain near the United Kingdom Pavilion for our next stop in our series of topiaries through the years at Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival. Our last stop was to see the Winnie the Pooh and Friends character topiaries. For this article, we’ll check out another fan-favorite horticultural work of art that’s seen a number of changes in recent years: Captain Hook, Peter Pan, and Tick Tock Crocodile.
Our first photos of Peter Pan’s topiary date back to 2019. At the time, he had vibrant orange hair and no facial details. The pair were positioned in front of the outdoor seating area near the Yorkshire County Fish Shop. Today, this is where we find Tinker Bell’s Fairy Garden.

By 2021, Peter Pan was detailed enough to properly take on his adversary, Captain Hook.

Over the years, both Captain Hook and Peter Pan have become more life-like in their topiary forms. Captain Hook now sports a darker coat and a purple flume in his hat. Peter Pan has a red feather sticking out of his cap and his hair is much more subtle. It’s remarkable what they can do, but if you’ve been following along, you already know that.

By 2023, the pair had moved a little further down the World Showcase Promenade. They are now positioned in the beds between the Canada and United Kingdom Pavilions. You can tell from the photo below that Tick Tock Croc is patiently waiting nearby.

At some point, he became part of the topiary trio.

The three return to this location in 2025.

Tick Tock often makes for a fun photo opportunity if you time things just right.
