Seven Dwarfs Fail to Materialize at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party in 2024

The first Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is one of the biggest nights of the year at Walt Disney World. Guests plan costumes months ahead of time, purchase tickets, and form a game plan to meet their favorite characters. The problem? Disney doesn’t publish an exact list of character meet-and-greets for the party. So planners and information providers like me do their best to seek out each and every character meet-and-greet, relying on past party experiences as a guide.

Last year, we saw the return of one of the most popular meet-and-greets at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, the Seven Dwarfs. We waited 1 hour and 50 minutes to meet them! Not only is their line historically long, but having your family picture made with seven characters from Walt Disney’s classic Snow White film is second to none when it comes to character meet-and-greets.

Sadly, the Seven Dwarfs were not part of the character lineup on the first night of Mickey’s Halloween Party this year. Since the first party lineup typically sets the pretense for the rest of the season, we don’t expect them to materialize. Typically, the Seven Dwarfs met inside Pete’s Silly Sideshow. However, a few returning characters have taken over the space. This year, you’ll find Minnie Mouse (new outfit), Daisy Duck, Donald Duck, and Goofy inside the circus tent. They are meeting as one set of characters instead of individually. So you’ll still have the opportunity to have a fairly unique photo made. It just won’t be the Seven Dwarfs.

Disney even had special signs made indicating the Seven Dwarfs meet-and-greet.

However, getting to meet these special rare characters was worth it!

We are sad that others won’t get to experience this special meet-and-greet this party season. Given their popularity and last year’s return to the party, they were definitely anticipated as being part of the 2024 lineup. We’ll have to wait and see if they return to the character lineup of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
