Mickey and Minnie Mouse Celebrate Their 96th Birthday! Here Are 4 Fun Meet-and-Greets (Past and Present)
It’s hard to believe that Mickey and Minnie Mouse are 96 years old! As we celebrate their birthday milestone on November 18, 2024, I thought we’d look back at a few places they’ve met in special outfits in recent years. We’ll also discuss the only current location where guests can meet them as a couple in the four parks at Walt Disney World!
#1 Adventurer’s Outpost is the only traditional place where Mickey and Minnie Mouse meet together at Walt Disney World.
Did you know? Adventurer’s Outpost at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the only long-term place to meet Mickey and Minnie Mouse as a couple at Walt Disney World. They meet in their safari suits. If you’re visiting during the holiday season, you might notice a bit of festive flair added to their outfits. Remember, if you’re hoping to meet them together, this is the place!
#2 Mickey and Minnie Mouse met together to celebrate Disney100
In 2023, Mickey and Minnie Mouse met at Epcot for a limited time to celebrate Disney’s 100th anniversary! This meet-and-greet was held inside the Magic Eye Theater. The pair wore silver outfits with sparkly accents!
#3 Mickey and Minnie Mouse met at Magic Kingdom to celebrate Disney’s 50th Anniversary!
Between October 2021 and early 2023, Walt Disney World celebrated its 50th anniversary with an 18-month-long celebration. Mickey and Minnie met at Magic Kingdom for a limited time during the celebration in their Earidescent outfits!
#4 The couple had a special meet-and-greet to celebrate their 90th birthday!
In 2019, Mickey and Minnie Mouse met at Town Square Theater for a limited time to celebrate their 90th birthday. Special birthday outfits were designed for the celebration. If you visited during this time, you might remember a giant book was on display in the theater lobby. Guest could sign the book, witnessing their presence.
