Mary Poppins Meet-and-Greet Removed from Epcot’s United Kingdom Pavilion
Mary Poppins is no longer meeting guests at Epcot’s United Kingdom Pavilion. Earlier this year, her meet-and-greet was removed from the character meet-and-greet schedule in the My Disney Experience app. She previously met here wearing her jolly holiday dress with red trim. We stopped by this location a couple of times to confirm she was no longer meeting and were told that if she did make an appearance, it was only to surprise and delight guests. Below, we’ll preview a few photos from her former meet-and-greet.
Previously, she intermittently met guests in the United Kingdom Pavilion from mid-morning until approximately 5:00 p.m.
Her meet-and-greet was near where Alice in Wonderland greets guests at Epcot. They were usually both out from time to time during the day. However, Mary Poppins sometimes moved around. We always recommended that guests check the back of the pavilion near the gazebo if she wasn’t in the garden.
Guests often waited in long lines to meet her here. It was always her pleasure to meet everyone.
She even signed her autograph.
You might see Mary Poppins at Magic Kingdom during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party these days. If you do see her out, she enjoys talking about Jane and Michael, her chimney sweeper friend Bert, or you could discuss the perfect cup of tea. True to form, she delivers an air of utmost properness.
