First Look at ‘Coco’ Nighttime Parade Float for Disney Starlight and Attraction Poster

Per the Disney Parks Blog, we are just a few months away from the debut of Disney Starlight: Dream the Night, Magic Kingdom’s new nighttime parade. While the official date hasn’t been announced, Disney shared that their teams were busy at work on design, choreography, and recording music as they work toward opening night. With those thoughts in mind, Disney decided to share two new things about the parade.
First, they revealed the attraction poster that will likely hang somewhere near Magic Kingdom’s entrance when the parade debuts. The attraction poster features the Blue Fairy with Cinderella Castle, Peter Pan and Wendy, Moana, Miguel and Pepita, Cinderella and Prince Charming, and Elsa.

Then, they revealed a new float themed to Coco, promising an explosion of color and light that guests won’t want to miss! Here’s what Disney has to say about the float:
“Disney Starlight” will get un poco loco with a new Coco float at Magic Kingdom! In a celebration of the Pixar Animation Studios film, sounds of Mariachi music will announce the arrival of a larger-than-life Pepita, wings spread above the parade route. Below, Miguel will strum his guitar at the foot of a marigold bridge to the Land of the Dead, complete with sugar skull fireworks.

For more characters and floats, Disney has previously released the following:
An Encanto-themed float featuring Mirabel, Isabela, and Bruno. Disney notes that Isabela will swing from the vines.

A Moana themed-float featuring Moana, Pua, Heihei, and a manta ray representing Gramma Tala.

A Disney Princess themed float featuring Princess Aurora with Prince Philip, Princess Tiana with Prince Naveen, Cinderella with Prince Charming, and Belle with the Beast.

Disney ends today’s announcement with one final surprise!
But what you don’t see in the artwork are the royal court dancers who will bookend this princess segment – one of many references to the classic “Main Street Electrical Parade.”
