Resorts Gal Character Spotlight
Boo at Walt Disney World
Boo from Monsters, Inc. has always been an exceptionally rare character at Walt Disney World. The last time we saw her make an appearance was back in 2019 at the Monsters, Inc. Dance Party in front of the Rockettower Plaza Stage at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. Back then, guests could hit the dance floor with several favorite monsters from the movie franchise.
These days, Boo is an obscure character. Hopefully, we’ll see her in the future with the new Monsters, Inc.-themed land coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. She wears her monster costume, which Mike and Sulley used to disguise her while she was stranded in Monstropolis.

Does Boo have a regular character meet-and-greet at Walt Disney World? No, to our knowledge, she has never had a traditional meet-and-greet in any of the theme parks.
Other Places We’ve Seen at Disney World: The Halloween Party is the only place we’ve seen her. However, she has likely appeared at special events in the past.
Former Meet-and-Greet Locations: None that we know about.
Related Characters: Mike Wazowski, Sulley
This is the only picture I have of Boo. I met her at the Halloween Party in 2019. This was taken a few months after I started Resorts Gal, and at the time, I had no idea that she was such a rare find. While the image below isn’t the best quality, I wanted to include her for historical reference.
Here’s another image I found later!
