BDX Droids to Debut in Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios Later This Year

You know those cute little BDX droids that previously debuted at Disneyland? Today, during the The Future of World-Building at Disney panel at SXSW, The Mandalorian creator and Disney Legend Jon Favreau was joined by Imagineers Leslie Evans and Asa Kalama to talk about what’s coming soon to Batuu . One of those things—BDX Droids! The droids even joined them onstage for the announcement:
Later this year, BDX-Droids will pay visit to Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris!

The BDX Droids will receive the Thea Award for Outstanding Achievement – Technical Innovation in 2025. The awards gala will be held on March 15th. (Themed Entertainment Association)
