Getting To and From Beach Club Villas (A Mini-Pocket PDF Guide)

It’s challenging to keep up with destinations and transportation options during a Disney World vacation, and it’s almost impossible to remember everything. So we’ve created a mini-pocket guide with the transportation routes for Disney’s Beach Club Villas. It offers a quick reference when leaving the resort to visit other destinations. You can access a complimentary PDF at the end of this article with these tips. It was designed for you to save to your mobile device and use while on vacation.
Major Disney Destinations
Disney provides complimentary transportation from Disney’s Beach Club Villas to the following destinations.
Destination | Transportation Mode |
---|---|
Magic Kingdom | Resort Bus Service |
EPCOT | Walk or Boat (Walking is faster.) |
Disney’s Hollywood Studios | Walk or Boat |
Disney’s Animal Kingdom | Resort Bus Service |
Disney Springs | Resort Bus Service |
Blizzard Beach | Resort Bus Service (Must transfer at Disney’s Animal Kingdom) |
Typhoon Lagoon | Resort Bus Service (Must transfer at Disney Springs) |

Other Popular Destinations
You might also want to visit other popular locations like the resort hotels during your vacation. Most of these destinations will require a transfer. Here are our suggestions for using complimentary transportation to get to these locations:
Monorail Resorts (Grand Floridian, Polynesian Village, and Disney’s Contemporary Resorts): Take a bus from Disney’s Beach Club Resort to Magic Kingdom. At Magic Kingdom, you’ll walk through the security clearance. From there, you can boat, monorail, or walk to the Grand Floridian or Polynesian. You can also walk or take a monorail to the Contemporary.
*People always ask if they can walk to the monorail from the Beach Club and ride it to the Magic Kingdom. To do this, you must have valid park admission to enter Epcot at the International Gateway. Then, you must walk through the entire park and exit Epcot’s main entrance to board the monorail from Epcot to the Transportation and Ticket Center. Then, you must transfer at the TTC to the resort or express monorail for Magic Kingdom. (This information is not included in our pocket guide.)
Epcot Resorts (Yacht Club, BoardWalk, and Swan and Dolphin Resorts): You are within walking distance of these resorts, or you can take a FriendShip Boat.
Skyliner Resorts (Riviera, Caribbean Beach, Art of Animation, and Pop Century): Walk or boat to Epcot’s International Gateway and board the Skyliner to any of these resorts.
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge or Fort Wilderness: Walk or boat to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Then, take a bus to either resort. (You can also take the bus to Magic Kingdom and boat to these resorts.)
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge: Take a bus to Disney’s Animal Kingdom park. Then, board the bus to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. (You can also take the boat to Hollywood Studios, and then take a bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge.)
Disney Springs Resorts (French Quarter, Riviera, Old Key West, Saratoga Springs): Take a bus to Disney Springs and then take a bus to any of these resorts. You could also walk or boat to Hollywood Studios and take a bus to any of them. (This item is not listed on the pocket guide below.)
Things You Need to Know
Transportation at Disney World is subject to availability and operating hours. For instance, taking a bus from a theme park to a resort might be challenging if you visit for an early morning breakfast. In the morning, the priority is getting guests to the park. So, if a bus transfer is required before 10:00 a.m., we usually take a car service.
It’s also important to note that some routes we’ve shared offer alternative options. For example, if you’re visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, you might prefer to take a boat to Hollywood Studios and then a bus to the hotel. We’ve tried to share the most straightforward ways.
To help, we’ve created a free PDF pocket guide with this information. It is designed to provide a quick reference during your vacation. You can print a copy or save it to your mobile device. Sign up below to receive a copy.
