Disney’s Beach Club Villas
Disney’s Beach Club Villas is a separate Disney Vacation Club Resort that exists at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. The Disney Vacation Club, commonly referred to as DVC, is a timeshare program. Repeat guests often purchase a DVC membership and use points to reserve their accommodations at these select resorts.
You do not, however, have to be a DVC member to book a stay at one of the villa resorts. These room types are first made available to DVC guests, but Disney also allows regular guests to reserve them. Here’s a breakdown of how it works, depending on your status as a guest:
- DVC members can reserve rooms using points at the resorts.
- Regular guests can rent DVC points from members or through a service that offers point rentals.*
- Regular guests can reserve these room types through an authorized Disney Travel Agent or through the Disney website at a cash rate.
*We would not recommend renting points through someone you don’t know or trust. Always make sure to use a reputable travel company when making reservations.

What Makes Disney’s Beach Club Villas Stand Out
Disney’s Beach Club Villas is a beautiful resort that offers the look and feel of a quaint New England beach resort. The resort is a pretty mint green paint color and within a short walking distance of Epcot. You can also boat or walk from the resort to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Since the Beach Club is part of the Epcot Resorts Area, you’ll have quick access to surrounding resorts like Disney’s BoardWalk and the Swan and Dolphin Hotels. With so many hotels in the immediate area, you’ll have plenty to do, especially considering how many dining options are available nearby.
Disney’s Beach Club is attached to the Yacht Club. Therefore, the entire resort consists of the Beach Club, the Beach Club Villas, and the Yacht Club. Guests of each resort area have access to all the resort’s amenities. The most popular amenity among them is the shared pool area, Stormalong Bay.
This significant pool area is more comparable to a water park than a resort pool. When we stay at the Beach Club Villas, we always plan at least one full day and several half-days at Stormalong Bay. If you consider yourself a pool person, you could spend an entire week at the resort hanging out at the pool area each day. It would be a fun and relaxing week. But even I’ll admit that it would be hard not to spend any time at the parks, especially with Epcot and Hollywood Studios being so close.
Distinct Room Options
Perhaps the most notable difference between the Beach Club and the Villas is the room types. Disney Vacation Club Resorts have unique accommodations with upgrades that can truly make a stay in a villa more convenient.
The following accommodations are available at Disney’s Beach Club Villas:
- Deluxe Studios (sleep up to 5 adults)
- One-Bedroom Villa (sleeps up to 4 adults)
- Two-Bedroom Villa (sleeps up to 8 adults)
Upgraded amenities in the deluxe studios include a kitchenette and complimentary access to the Beach Club’s laundry facilities on the fourth floor of the villas wing. The kitchenette includes a mini fridge and a microwave. (You would not get these extras in a regular resort room.)
Upgraded amenities in the villas (one and two bedrooms) include the following:
- A full-size kitchen with traditional appliances. This is a nice feature because you can prepare meals, snacks, etc, in the comfort of your accommodations. Most guests pre-order groceries and have them delivered on their check-in day.
- Each unit has a dedicated living and dining area where you’ll have more room to spreadout.
- Villas have separate bedrooms, making it simple for everyone to rest, relax, and enjoy a little privacy.
- These units are equipped with a washer and dryer. This is a nice feature for a multitude of reasons, but most importantly, you don’t have to pack so much.
Additionally, all rooms at Disney’s Beach Club Villas have a full-size balcony or a patio if you’re on the ground floor. We have an overview of the room balconies at the Beach and Yacht Club if you want to compare.
Check out our Beach Club Villas accommodations page for a complete breakdown of each room type. To compare, you can preview the types of accommodations available at the Beach Club Resort.
Check-in time for Beach Club Villas is at 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is at 11:00 a.m. (Note that all deluxe villas have a 4:00 p.m. check-in time while regular resorts have a 3:00 p.m. check-in time. Early check-in might be available, but is not guaranteed.)
Benefits of Staying at a Villa Resort
Guests of Disney’s Beach Club Villas can participate in Disney’s early theme park entry, a perk extended to all Walt Disney World Resort guests. Additionally, deluxe villa resort guests are privy to extended evening hours on select nights at select parks. Here’s an overview:
Early Theme Park Entry: This perk allows resort guests to enter any Walt Disney World theme park 30 minutes before it opens to the general public. This early entry provides several advantages:
- Lower Crowds: Being among the first to enter the park allows you to experience popular attractions with shorter wait times. This will help you to check off must-see rides and experiences ahead of the crowd.
- Photography Opportunities: If you love capturing the magic of Disney, the early hours provide a fantastic opportunity for photos in front of iconic landmarks with fewer people in the background.
- Cooler Temperatures: Morning hours are often cooler, making outdoor activities more comfortable. But if you visit during cooler weather, don’t forget a jacket!
Extended Evening Hours for Deluxe Resort Guests: Guests will have the opportunity to stay in some parks later on select evenings. Most of the year, we see this perk offered at Epcot on Monday evenings and at Magic Kingdom on Wednesday evenings. However, the schedule changes from time to time.
Another benefit of staying at a Walt Disney World Hotel is that you can purchase Lightning Lane Passes up to 7 days in advance of your stay. See our Disney World Lightning Lane Guide for a complete overview of how everything works.
Where to Eat During Your Stay
Guests of Disney’s Beach Club Villas will be within a short walking distance of the resort’s restaurants. Here is a summary of what to expect:
- The Beach Club Marketplace is the resort’s quick-service location. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Hurricane Hannas Waterside Bar and Grill is the resort’s secondary quick service that doubles as the resort’s poolside bar. This is your go-to place if you need an order of chicken nuggets and fries. They also have a variety of sandwiches, burgers, and beverages.
- Beaches and Cream is a popular table-service restaurant that serves ice cream and the famous “Everything But the Kitchen Sink” sundae, which feeds a small army. You can also order comfort food like burgers, fries, onion rings, and similar diner-style items.
- Martha’s Vineyard is the resort’s lounge that’s open every evening. Its appetizer menu allows guests to easily combine a few items to make a meal. We enjoy dining here, but prefer the menu at the nearby Crew’s Club Lounge.
- Cape May Cafe serves a character breakfast by day and a seafood buffet (no characters) at night. Given its popularity, reservations are highly recommended.
- Yacht Club Restaurants: Ale and Compass Restaurant, Ale and Compass Lounge, Crew’s Cup Lounge, The Market at Ale and Compass, and Yachtsman Steakhouse.
For a more in-depth exploration of each restaurant, refer to our Beach Club Villas Dining Guide.
